First Cumberland Presbyterian Church

The Cumberland Presbyterian Church was established in 1810
and is part of the reformed tradition.
We follow a presbyterian form of government and our services are structured but informal.

The doctrines and practices of Cumberland Presbyterians are detailed in
the Confession of Faith for Cumberland Presbyterians.
Reformed in theology and Presbyterian in church government,
we stress the sovereign nature of God and
the supremacy of grace
by which God offers redemption to all who will follow God's will.
The Bible is the guide for all we believe
and practice. We celebrate two Sacraments:
baptism and Holy Communion, which we offer on
the first Sunday of each month and on special occasions.
