Christian Education

Our Sunday School progam includes classes for all ages. Classes begin at 9:30 a. m each Lord's Day.  We also offer children's church during our morning worship service for children in the first through the fifth grade.

ETC - Eat, Talk, Contribute

ETC is an organization for women.  Our goal is to form lasting friendships as we complete projects that benefit others.  We meet the first Thursday of each month from 10 a. m at different locations.

On the 5th Wednesday of the month (4 times a year) volunteers from our church go and distribute food to those in need.

Cumberland Presbyterian Women

Our purpose is to accept and share the love and joy of Jesus Christ through the ministry of women in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  We seek to do this through as we praystudy God's Word, and reach out to others through missionserviceencouragement and fellowship.  Our helping hands circle meets on the second Saturday of each month at 9:30 a. m.  All interested women of the community are invited to attend the meetings.

Men's Breakfast

The men at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church host a breakfast on the first Saturday of each month at 8 a. m.  It is a guys morning out to gather around the table for some great food, fellowship, and theological reflection.  Come on out and join us!

The word acolyte is taken from an ancient Greek word that meant companion, attendant, or helper.  Since ancient times, light and fire have reminded people that God is here with us.  Acolytes serve an important role in our Sunday worship by lighting and extinguishing the candles at the Lord's Table.  Children and youth 4th through 8th grade can serve as acolytes.  Those interested in becoming a part of this important ministry should see Pastor Andy.

Faith Alive

Faith Alive is our Junior and Senior High Youth Ministry.  They meet on the fourth Sunday Evening @ 5 p. m.  for Food, Fun, and Spiritual Fuel.
